The Joint Commission Accredits Saratoga Springs Plastic Surgery for 6th Time
Dedicated to providing top-quality patient care, our team at Saratoga Springs Plastic Surgery has recently been accredited for a sixth time by The Joint Commission! Earning this Gold Seal of Approval® for our in-office surgical facility is an honor we are proud to maintain, as it indicates our commitment to upholding incredibly strict safety and patient care standards.
The Joint Commission’s Office-Based Surgery Accreditation Program first began in 2001. To earn and maintain this advanced status, offices are evaluated once every two to three years to ensure they comply with standards set by The Joint Commission regarding their surgery environment. This system entails an unannounced survey process that involves on-site observations, interviews, and rigorous reviews of the office-based facility. In addition, The Joint Commission provides processes to further enhance patient care in various areas.
Approximately 350 organizations nationwide, but no others in the the Albany Capital District region, currently hold this Office-Based Surgery Accreditation along with Saratoga Springs Plastic Surgery, PC. We are thrilled to have been awarded this status for another three years, as it reflects our mission to provide excellent patient care while continuously striving to improve his practices.
