It's common for people considering cosmetic surgery to interview several surgeons before making a decision.  Such a comparison is a valuable process.  To enable you to compare "apples" with "apples" and not "oranges", Dr. Yarinsky developed this worksheet.  Complete it for each surgeon and facility you consider.  Verify safety and certification factors which insure your ultimate protection. Differences in fee quotations between surgeons may actually represent major differences in your safety--during surgery and in recovery, and may reflect differences in the cosmetic result.  Be sure that you know all fees before you commit.  But never choose your doctor based on cost alone, since a lower fee is often charged by a less experienced plastic surgeon who is building his business.  A more experienced cosmetic surgeon will usually give you better results with a lower rate of complications!  In the event of an emergency, you'll want assurance that your medical team has the skills and equipment needed. The importance of having highly-qualified and trained support staff, JCAHO Accreditation, and a board certified plastic surgeon can not be overestimated.
